A football prep service conditions new leather footballs to eliminate the slick factory finish and create a consistent, tacky, game-ready feel. New footballs often arrive stiff and slippery. Proper conditioning improves:

Our 12-Step Football Conditioning Process

Step 1

Elite power brushing removes factory dye coating from the leather surface.

Surface conditioning begins opening the leather pores.

Step 3

Leather Mojo Conditioner is applied and given sufficient time to dry.

Step 4

Hand brushing begins the texture development process. And We apply Conditioner on a rag to remove any excess dye. We avoid any product that will dry out the leather like shaving cream.

Elite Power brush is used again to help dye removal and to aid us in opening pores of the leather.

The football is brushed again to evenly distribute conditioning and applying a proprieatary blend.

Leather Balm with tack is applied and used with Balldryer technolgy to soften the leather

We now have a nice dark football that has enough tack for mud to apply.

Lena Blackburne mud is mixed with a secret blend and milshake consistency
